See your new website before you pay for it.
I redesign websites for service businesses in Boise and Meridian. First I build a homepage concept of your actual business, free. If you like it, the full redesign is $750, paid once, and the site is yours to keep.
For detailers, landscapers, painters, barbers, and contractors.
How a redesign works
Five steps. You don't pay anything until we've agreed on scope in step three.
I go through your current site
On a phone and on a computer. I note the three problems most likely costing you calls, like a phone number you can't tap or services buried three pages deep.
You get a homepage concept, free
A real homepage built around your business: your services, your service area, your reviews. It's a private preview link with no cost and no obligation.
We agree on scope, in writing
Pages, price, which platform it lives on, and what isn't included. You pay a deposit only after you've read it and said yes.
I build it, you revise it
Your homepage and up to four more pages, designed for phones first. Two rounds of changes are included.
Launch and handoff
I connect your domain without touching your email, check that your forms work, then hand over the files, an account list, and instructions. The site is yours.
Concept work
These businesses are made up. Each concept shows how I'd approach a real one in the same trade. Paid client work will replace them as projects launch.
Kestrel Mobile Detail Fictional detailer
Packages and prices sit on the homepage, so people can book without calling to ask.
Larkspur Yard Co. Fictional landscaper
Services are grouped by season, which is how customers already think about yard work.
Fenwick Barber Room Fictional barbershop
Hours and walk-in policy come first, because that's the question every visitor has.
Eight trades, eight different looks: detailing, landscaping, barbering, painting, building, pressure washing, heating and air, and house cleaning.
One price, paid once
$750
A deposit to start, and the rest when you approve the finished site, before it goes live. There's no monthly fee from me.
That's the starting price for a typical site of up to five pages. Bigger sites, or a move to a different platform, get a written quote first.
Included
- A custom homepage and up to four more pages
- Designed and tested for phones, tablets, and computers
- Your existing info, services, and photos carried over
- Two rounds of revisions
- Tap-to-call, a map, and your Google Business Profile link
- Page titles and descriptions for search results
- Domain connection and launch
- A handoff package with ownership instructions
- 14 days of fixes for anything I built that isn't working
Not included
- Unlimited revisions
- New features like online stores, memberships, or custom booking
- Ongoing maintenance or monthly updates
- Hosting, domain, and other subscription fees, which you pay directly in your own name
- Writing all-new copy from scratch
Your site, your domain, your email.
- It stays in your name
- Hosting and your domain live in your accounts, not mine. At handoff you get the files and a list of every account, what it does, and when it renews.
- Your email keeps working
- Before I change anything, I save a copy of your domain settings. The records that deliver your email are left alone, and I send test emails after launch to confirm it.
- I never ask for your passwords
- Most platforms, including Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress, let you add me as a collaborator. You remove me when we're done.
- Your Google traffic is protected
- I keep your page addresses where I can and redirect any that change, so old links and search results still land somewhere.
Questions
My site is on Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy. Can you still redo it?
Usually, yes. Some builders don't let a site be moved out, so I either rebuild it inside the platform you already pay for, or suggest moving to a simpler host if that saves you money. You decide before any work starts.
Do I have to pay for the concept?
No. The homepage concept is free and you're under no obligation. If it's not for you, say so and I won't follow up again.
What do you need from me?
Just your current website address to start. If you go ahead: your logo, any photos of your work, correct hours and services, and someone who can approve changes.
How long does it take?
Once scope is agreed, a five-page redesign usually takes two to four weeks. Most of that time is the back-and-forth on revisions.
What happens after launch?
For 14 days I fix anything I built that isn't working. After that the site is yours. If you want changes later, I'll quote each one; there's no monthly plan.
Will a redesign hurt my Google ranking?
Rankings can dip when page addresses change without redirects. I keep your existing addresses where possible and redirect the rest. Nobody can promise rankings, but I won't break what's already working.
